Entering this arcade means agreeing to the rules below. They are written in plain language, because the machine has nothing to hide.

The service

fear.games is a browser-based arcade of original, code-synthesized games. Free cabinets (WANDERER) are playable without an account. Paid tiers (INITIATE, ELDER) unlock additional cabinets and features.

Accounts

Your account lives in your browser; the server keeps the membership record described in the Privacy page. You are responsible for keeping the device credential private — it is what proves you own the account. If you lose it, support can reset it.

Payments and billing

Paid memberships are billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account page or the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per Stripe's terms — contact[email protected]with any billing issue and the arcade will make it right.

Fair play

Leaderboard runs are verified by deterministic re-simulation. Tampering with submissions, automated play, or anything that breaks the verification may get runs rejected and access revoked. The arcade's word on verification is final.

Content and rights

All characters, art, music and code are original works of fear.games and are protected as such. You may play them, but not redistribute or republish them.

No warranties

The arcade is provided as-is, with the occasional power surge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, fear.games is not liable for damages arising from use of the service, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

These rules may be updated; continued use after an update means acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the arcade lobby.
